I would like to report something that i witnessed a long time ago. i kept putting it off because my typing is awful so i asked my wife to type it for me. i live in coaldale, alberta and i am a star gazer. back in june 1995, i witnessed something in the sky two nights in a row, both at the same time, 2:55 am (mountain time). the first night, i was looking east when all of a sudden, i saw an object coming from the south, at an estimated 20-30 miles altitude, at a speed i estimated at around 80 to 100,000 mph. it stopped suddenly at a location i estimated around the border of alberta and montana. the second night, same clear sky as the previous night, same time-2:55am- as the previous night; the same object came from the same direction (south to north) and stopped at the same place in the sky as the night before; except this time about 3 to 5 seconds after it stopped, it took off at high speed toward the east and disappeared out of sight. i thought about that incident a lot and analysed it in my mind. we on earth don't have vehicles that can go from 100,000 mph to zero in an instant (that i know of). in 2003, i was watching a program on tv about ufo's and their sightings when the commentator said that the upcoming scene was shot from a satellite (weather, i believe); it shows a shot of the earth from above with the camera pointed down at washington state, montana, bc, and alberta. all of a sudden, an object comes into view and the commentator says that the ufo stopped at a satellite vertical over the alberta and montana border. it stopped for a few seconds then made a quick start heading east. that is when i realized that what i had just seen from above was the same thing i witnessed from the ground back in 1995. the guy said that it was shot in june, 1995, but the tv show only showed the second sighting with the quick stop to the satellite and quick departure east a few seconds later. his estimate of speed, also, seems to be close to mine at around 100,000 mph. i should have reported this a long time ago. if you have the video of the view shown from the satellite, i sure would like to see it again.
