Tonight our community is under a heat advisory as the thermometer peeks at 33°celcius(92°fahrenheit). at the time i on facebook waiting for my cousin to message me but he never did. around 11:25pm i enter the living room to lower the volume on the tv then i pushed the curtain aside to take a quick glace outside as a often do. the sky is clear except for a few dim stars and what i thought was saturn until i swear it was moving towards me. i remained still to confirm that it is indeed moving. the bright star did not dim or blink. my first thought was to grab my phone to record it. so i ran into my room then unhook the charger attached to my phone and with my luck the phone is off which took over a minute to power-up. the bright star is now directly overhead. i race outside hoping that i might be able to film this for a few seconds. my phone is laggy when the battery is low and it was irritating me that the camera seem to take forever to start. fortunately i did manage to capture a 35 second clip of the object flying overhead. there was no blinking lights at all. i see air traffic flying all the time so i know exactly what it looks like. to be honest, i can't say exactly what this is since it could be space junk but i know one thing for sure, this is no airplane. my phone is an older sony xperia with limited resolution so do bare in mind that the video is not the best quality.
