My wife and i were driving west on 175th street preparing to turn right on moonlight rd. i heard police sirens then noticed the emergency lights coming at us. we were beginning to slow down to turn and also stop for the emergency vehicle when i noticed a bright white orb falling from the sky from directly above 175th street, starting approximately 100’ in the air and moving at a 45 degree angle over the power wires and a moving train. the light moved in a straight line and only lasted about two seconds. we were approximately 500’ away. the light disappeared once past the train. at first i thought maybe it was a reflection from the police coming towards us but if it was it should have followed the curve of my windshield. the light was way too bright for that and also would have dimmed somewhat as my windshield has some moisture buildup. also the second police car would have caused the same reflection as we hadn’t moved since i saw the light and the first police car. my wife didn’t see it but suggested maybe it was a meteor. maybe but i would have seen this higher in the sky. it appeared way too low for that. also because it was going towards the train it couldn’t have been a spark from the train either.
