I was at home and had been up late so was getting ready to go to bed, i went to the window seat to get my laptop and as i live on the 4th floor and have no covering at all over the windows, i glanced out over at the forest across the river and noticed a large glowing red/pinky orange object just sitting in the sky above the tree tops. at first glance it looked just like the sun, but it was already daylight and the sun had risen so i quickly realised this was no sun or fallen planet which was what i first thought and which made me really take note as i could not for the life of me work out what the hell this was as it was just sitting there sort of shimmering for at least 15 mins. this object was sort of glowing, shimmering but was clearly round and was very sun/planet looking but was obviously way too low in the sky to be the sun or moon or any other planet! i had to walk away and go back to the window as i couldn't believe what i was seeing nor work out what it was. after realising this thing was still there after a 5 min break i was just totally gob smacked, speechless and stunned, as i stood staring after about 10 mins this object suddenly changed shape/morphed into a large silver star shape and just disappeared before my eyes, as it vanished it made a weird light in the sky that sort of looked like the old tv's used to make when they were turned off, and a thin white line stayed in the sky for a while after. my reaction was total shock , disbelief, etc etc etc and im still speechless and dumbfounded at what i saw. a friend who lives miles away who rises early for work told me two weeks later that he had seen this with a couple of differences and this was before id said a word to him so i no im not alone and cant believe im the only local who saw this as lots of people here rise early to work at the local factory. ive never before seen anything of this nature and would love to find out more if possible as there was nothing in the media as i thought there would be.
