On march 4 my wife and i sat and watched the south east sky as we do most nights in cabo san lucas corridor. generally we watch cruise ships going to and from la paz mexico up the sea of cortez. but on this night my well yelled out, honey what is that! the light appeared to be a plane coming in for a landing at the private airport north of cabo. the bright "orange" light had a crescent moon facing downward with what appeared to be two other lights below, like stacked lights. and the color is what caught our eye, they were not normal lights for a plain and moved in the sky for about 8 to 10 minutes. as we watched the lights seemed to be coming at us and growing in size then turn and speed off to the southern sky and disappear within seconds. about 20 minutes went bye and the light appeared again, in the same direction in the sky but this time we thought we saw a reddish glow in the center of the stack of lights dead-center, i ran for my phone and my wife says it disappeared, but when i returned the lights were on the horizon, or telephone poll level in my cheap camera. i captured 1 minute of the lights before it again speed off to the southern sky and disappeared. it went from high in the night sky to the horizon in a second without us seeing it move. then up again and off.
