We were vacationing in big sky, montana, after dark we had just got into the hot tub and were sitting back, enjoying the clear night sky, when my wife pointed out some "cool looking stars". looking, i noticed three very bright, non-pulsating lights that appeared like stars, only not. being a habitual stargazer i noted that these stars were unusual. brighter than anything else in the sky, they were arranged in a perfect triangle, with one on top and two on the bottom. no sooner had i said this when the bottom right "star" quickly faded from view, followed right after by the bottom left. then after a few seconds, the top star faded from view, this one fading a bit slower than the other two. we sat and watched for another 30 minutes or so, but nothing returned. i then go my cell phone, and using the the skyview app i noted the coordinates of the sighting. ra: 21h 55m54s, dec -27deg 33'06". just below the pisces and to the left of the aquarius constellations. i screen captured it, and have attached the file below.
