White light falling to the ground leaving a red trail behind itMy two daughters and I were driving home one night and we all observed this occurrence. It was a white ball of light falling towards the ground in front of us. It left a red trail behind it. I would describe it as a fireball. Landing in trees about a mile in front of us. If we had any doubts about seeing this before, we didn't the second time. It was seen at night two different times. The second time we observed this was when we were taking a walk a few days later in our neighborhood. Can you explain this to me? What it could possibly be?
