Bright orange sphere flew over a small village in Central Vermont, witnessed by three citizens.A few minutes before 7:00 PM this evening, we witnessed a fiery, bright orange sphere flying or floating at a low altitude above the village of Northfield Falls, Vermont. Against the sky, it looked very large, maybe fifty feet in circumference. It came from a western direction and proceeded north. The lights twinkled and (to the naked eye)there seemed to be a silvery ring around the outside.At first its flight seemed steady. We then saw it stop or hover for 10-20 seconds, and then slowly the light disappeared as if it was vanishing or turning on an angle where the light could no longer be seen. There was no sound. Our neighbor was visiting with us on our westerly facing front porch when this occurred. There were three witnesses in total.
