I am a past member of the astronomical society of canada, and live under the flight path between detroit mi and toronto canada. we are avid Satellite watches and i have plaques dating back to 1992 documenting the nuber of satellites we observe. on this night i saw two lights at zeneth above my head at what i would have guessed at about 150to 200 thousand feet. i have seen two satellites before with the same trajectroy. however as i watched additional lights appeared. seven in all . a commercial jet went under this at about 35 to 40 thousound feet, probobly heading for Europe as it lined up with the jet streem. this object i abserved appeared tobe 3 to 4 times higher. then i realized that this object, at this hight had tobe very large, with no sound. satellite watching has made me aware of the speed of certain objects. this was traveliing at twice the speed of the International Space Station @7.7klm/s
