At around 8:30pm saturday october 20th 2012,driving east on Laraway rd. about a mile west of wolf rd, heading to a friends house in Mokena I noticed 4 bright orange lights apparantely hovering in the distance. I could see one of them dim down and approach another one, then it disappeared. Then another one disappeared. By the time I got to Wolf rd I was directly underneath the area and parked at a Walgreens parking lot and exited my vehicle. I saw the last one hover for about a minute then dim down to almost invisible but still could see something fuzzy/faint white moving off towards the east (Tinley). When I first noticed the objects I instantly was brought back in my mind to a similar occurence about 4 years ago in Wilmington Il, same time of year about a week before Halloween. I was driving back home from getting a haircut on west river road heading towards Custer park and saw several lights over the Braidwood area. There were approximately 7 objects behaving similarly, glowing bright then dim down and move, then hover and get bright again. They appeared big and bright like a jumbo jets lights, but orange in color(singularly). I initially found it very odd that aircraft would be this close together in the sky(dangerous to eachother) so I pulled over to get a look. I heard no sound on either occasion. I do not believe they were conventional aircraft, stars, planets, meteors, light reflections, flares,balloons etc. Im no expert but Im guessing they were too high to be regular remote operated hobby aircraft. I didnt notice any fast movement.It was exciting to see something so strange, yet keeping a skeptical opinion.
