We were in our basement room watching television when rob looked outside the window and a very bright light appeared out of no where above the Timpanoga mountains. This light was definitely not the north star being much too bright and far too low and the sky. The location of the light was SSE according to a compass. We have never seen this light before and thought it was strange that it appeared in the sky randomly. The light was at a stand still for a short while after we first noticed it. Then in very small intervals would move just a little bit either up or down and even left to right. But always staying pretty much in the same place. Then after watching the light constanly for about 25 -35 minutes it starts to decend or in a SSE heading. Either past the mountains or droppping below it. The last few minutes of the light moving were incredibly noticable. Dropping faster then before. And after moving from sight behind the mountains the light was to bright that you could still see the aura of it in the tips of the mountains moving from left to right across the range. After the initial shock of seeing this strange light we were just really confused and excited by what we think we might had seen. This exact occurance happened again tonight 12/10/2008. The difference was that last night there was only one light hovering the mountains. Tonight there was two! The brighter one was now no longer over the top of the mountains but closer to hovering the valley. The secound light was in the same place right above the mountain. After watching this for about 15-20 minutes the dimmer light was droppped behind the mountains and the brighter one moved and took its place. WEIRD...
