I was standing outside my friend's car in the parking lot of Discount Liquors in Fairfield and I noticed 3 very bright red lights in a triangle formation. For the first 2-3 seconds, I thought they were the red lights on the air traffic towers, because of the same red color and brightness, but after that I noticed they weren't blinking at all and the 3 were moving synchronously towards us at a relatively slow pace - like what a passenger jet at full speed & altitude looks like from the ground is my best approximation. I told him to check it out and he got out of the car and we both stood there and watched through a clear sky as the three lights went directly over our heads from the West and out to the East towards Clifton/Newark/Jersey City.We couldn't take our eyes off the thing and got a good look at it/them. There were no discernible lines/shapes that connected the lights to one another yet they were moving in a synchronous fashion. Neither of us had ever seen anything like that in our lives (I'm 24, hes 20), so we were just calling people that lived East of us and trying to get them to witness it too. One other person on the phone at the actual time we saw it was in Verona and got a view of it with binoculars and told us he was seeing 5 lights (like the other New Jersey guy in January taped). The other person who reported seeing it had just left a comment on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rADnHyQPwQ4 that was in a different location, but still the same red lights.We eventually lost sight of the object due to a combination of long distance & light scattered cloud cover, but could still see glimpses of individual lights at times.
