It was night time and my mother, brother, boyfriend, and I were in the car going home from church. My mother noticed it first and excitedly began pointing and yelling "Look a UFO! A UFO!"My brother and boyfriend both saw it before I could (I was at an odd angle in the car where the roof was getting in my way), but I could see bright white lights following directly to the left of our vehicle just behind the treetops (both sides of the road were lined with trees).I finally glimpsed the object, and had enough time to note that it looked like a hovering, dark pyramid before it shot off into the direction of the city. We watched it move away from us in the sky for several minutes (it took about 2 seconds for it to get so far away that it just looked like a bright light in the distance) before it was gone completely.This sighting further peaked my interest in UFOs and what they meant to my life. Years of denial over my first sighting were slowly being torn down.
