I had stepped outside to walk my dog just before we planned on going to bed. when i was about 30-40 yards west of the two-story building behind me, i turned eastward and saw a glowing white light with blue aura within my line of sight, over the building. i stopped in place and watched it, using lines on the building as a point of reference ensuring the object was indeed moving very slowly, southward... not a trick of the eye caused by nearby clouds. there was no sound, no port/starboard or fore/aft lights. having worked around helicopters, i'd guess it to be approximately the size of a commercial version yet certainly not a helicopter. i lost view of the orb when obstructed by a patch of clouds, so we left the scene and continued our walk. usually, my cell phone is on me but wasn't that night. had i taken an image of the orb, the resolution wouldn't have been enough quality to show more than a white, round fuzz. i spoke with neighbors and learned i'm not the only one who saw this and felt it was quite strange. also, that night plus the next, my dog wouldn't leave my bed and was on alert (sometimes growling) as she stared towards the bedroom window facing the side where the orb had hovered.
