I noticed a bright flashing light in front of us while driving tonight. i figured it was a helicopter, as i had seen one flying quite low around the area this afternoon. this light was flashing a bright white light similar to a normal aircraft. but i did not see any other lights on it. as we got closer it seemed to be just hovering in one spot. i pulled in to my buddies house and saw it moving very slowly towards us. still flashing the same way the whole time. i got out of the car and started to walk up to the porch and turned back around and it was gone. i searched around for a couple minutes but it was gone. about a minute after i did notice what looked to be a satellite passing by. about the same size and brightness to that of a star but it was hailing tail across the sky in a straight path. the whole thing has had me scratching my head ever since. if it were a helicopter or drone, there would have been the noticeable noise they put off. but the only thing i could hear in the night, were the cars passing by. and there were no other lights on this “aircraft” other than the bright white light flashing. and i am kicking myself for not pulling out my phone and recording it. but i will be on alert for another look at this i hope and will be ready.
