We were driving back on the infamous devil's highway (hwy 666/491) south when we decided to find ship rock in the dark. the sky was clear and cloudless. the moon had set by this time. we found the mountain structure from the highway and located the nearest road towards the structure- next while keeping on eye on the rock, we searched for a dirt road leading to the structure. after turning right off a dirt road, we parked the car and looked at the structure. that's when we noticed first of the lights above the structure- blue led bright lights. we thought it was interesting there would be multiple planes or satellites flying in formation and cast a bright light. we counted six lights. the lights then began to dance and swirl in patterns above the rock. we were fascinated by what we were seeing.One light descended and disappeared. eventually the other lights spread out in different directions and disappeared. we were astounded, not frightened.
