While walking my dog through my neighborhood between 2020hrs and 2035hrs on 4 september 2018, i observed an blue/white star-like orb flying above the trees in the eastern sky. size-wise, the object appeared the same size as the planet mars but without the orange color. color and light did not waver/alternate/blink or change. the rate of speed appeared constant and was fast enough to remind me of a shooting star so my eyes stayed fixed waiting to see it streak and then burn out. it did not do either. as i watched, it traveled from an east south east direction to a west north west direction and was effortlessly visible throughout the sighting until it disappeared behind the trees. sighting lasted less than a minute and the object passed almost directly overhead (90degrees). its path of traveled appeared straight, however my eyes seemed to detect an extremely shallow sine curve for a couple of moments. no noise accompanied the sighting. the sighting was perpendicular to any flight paths i'm familiar with in my area. flight path of object seems to contradict nasas space station flight information for september 4, 2018. my second thought was that this object could have been a drone, however the height and distance that i observed it covering did not seem to make sense for that type of aircraft. i felt awkward in my mind trying to label this object as familiar as i do a lot of star-gazing and night watching. i don't feel that i could explain this object to myself or someone else as something normal in the night sky.
