At approx. 7:07-7:10 pm est i was at home letting my dog out in the back yard. at approx. 7:13-7:14pm est i looked up at the stars as always and noticed a starlike red orange light, at first i thought it was a planet. i then noticed the blinking red lights of an airplane further southeast of the red/orange light. my sight then returned to the red/orange light and i noticed it was moving. it was covering more distance than the airplane but still seemed to be moving slowly. i then completely lost focus on the airplane lights and just focused on the red/orange light. it was moving from the southeast to the north, and seemed to be zig zagging very very slightly. about 7 or 8 seconds before i was going to lose sight of the light behind the tree line, it glowed much much brighter which made the size of the light bigger from starlike to golf ball size. the glow was still red/orange. it wasn’t really a flash but more like a glow. this was only for 3 or 4 seconds then the light returned to starlike size and i lost sight of it behind the tree line. first noticed at approx 120 degrees southwest, lost sight it was headed approx 2 degrees north. my elevation is 760 ft. i have no idea what it was. definitely not an airplane, all i can say for sure. if i had run to get my phone i would’ve probably missed the whole thing. i’d say by 7:20pm est the sighting was over, lasted approx. 3-5min.
