Traveling down highway 114 sw toward grapevine (direction of dfw airport) started with 3 then four lights and later 5. i though must be airplanes but they were brighter than any plane in the sky and no blinking lights. and they were too close to one another to be planes/helicopters without crashing. these things would phase in and out and in different formations slowly, gracefully. some would disappear than suddenly more show up - i saw 5 at one time. they appear in a triangle formation straight lines, and mixed/random. it didnt appear to be drones (no flashing lights) and the lights pulsed on and off light like lights on dimmer switches. the pulse on/off infrequent maybe just a few times each over the course of watching them. i watched this while i was driving through my front windshield for approx 8-10 minutes while traveling that highway from roanoke direction on the way to a meeting. i was wondering if anyone else paid attention to this as there were many cars on the road. with me. i lost sight of this when the highway turns and the objects were out of my field of vision on the right side of the car. i did not stop the car to take pictures 1) my dashcam was flashing operational with its green light so i was hoping the video would come out. 2) i had a meeting to go to and didnt want to be late and since dashcam appeared functional no need to stop. i was very dissappointed when i checked the flash memory on the dashcam as the last video entry was for july 30th, 2019 meaning it was no longer automatically recording properly since then.
