SIGHTING: SOUTH AUSTRALIA 5433

Witness Testimony

"(Depot Flat Station, Depot Flat Road, South Australia 5433) This is a report that I've held onto for many years and was passed onto me from my late father and it happened on our sheep station in the Flinders Ranges, outside of Quorn SA It was his father Jim, my grandfather, who was at home while my grandmother had taken my father and uncle to the school in Quorn for the high school debates that were being held that evening. Upon returning home my grandmother saw Jim who was as white as a ghost and proceeded to tell her what had transpired while they were out. It had been dark for a short while after sunset and Jim was watching his TV shows until he had the power go out of the whole home and wondered if a fuse had blown or power was interrupted. He went outside to investigate to see a large bright light that was hovering just over the family home and he rushed back inside to look from the windows. The bright object moved from over the house and moved over a hill next to that part of the farm and looked like it had landed in the "Twin Dam" paddock. My grandmother and both my dad and uncle said he had probably consumed one too many knock off beers after working on the farm all day and laughed it off. To everyone's suprise the next morning when Jim took them all to show where the craft looked like it had landed and indeed found a large circle in the grain crop where the organic/plant matter had all been singed in a way that was not done by anything they had on the farm. Jim was a very stoic character and so in turn was my father and uncle throughout life and not the type of people to make up stories or believe in any type of conspiracies, as it was not in their nature. This story however was one thing they truly believed in and I have held onto those beliefs until there was a more accepting and understanding community and world for that matter, who would understand and believe. I myself got the chance to confirm my own sighting in 1996 travelling to Adelaide with a good friend in the very early hours of the morning. Both my friend and I were convinced of what we saw but I will post that in a different sighting."
