I saw a jet coming from the north off my deck in my backyard. It was being followed by a salmon colored metallic vehicle that was directly behind and below the jet. I could hear the jet and see it's contrails. The jet was in a very low altitude, evidently just taking off from the airport in that direction. (I am in the flightpath here)I could see details of the jet clearly, the object was more rounded on top and flatter on the bottom. The ends were rounded and smaller than the middle, more or less cigar shaped. I could hear no sound from it and there were no wings or tail or any contrail visible. In fact it looked smooth with no other details visible.The object was going exactly the same speed as the jet and definitely too close for comfort. The crew surely had to be aware of this object, especially since it was at least as big as the jet.I called out to my sister and her boyfriend to see this but they didn't hear me.I watched the jet and the object as they passed the east side of my house. At that point I ran in to get my camera and onto the front porch to take a video, but the object and the jet were out of sight.This all took place in the span of about 5 minutes.It was an eerie experience!
