where:we lived in an a condo in keauhoa, hawaii - counrty club villas -from 5/07 to 3/08. condo had sliding doors that opened onto a golf course and we could see the sea from there.(very near the Sheraton Resort.) we lived on the second floor and kept the windows uncovered the entire time we lived there. Nothing was seen until the fall and winter months. On 11/19/07 around 2:30 am I got up to go to the bathroom. I always looked out to see the stars since the skies are so beautiful in HI. I saw a very very bright light in the sky and started to watch it. The lights were pulsating in a rotating like pattern. Colors were: red, green, a yellow/orange and white. It was stationary in the sky for up to an hour and then with binoculars (Field 7.1 7x50) I watched it go start out into space (hard to articulate exactly) until the light became small and disappeared. My husband saw it too. I knew immediately we had seen a UFO. I was excited, thrilled and a bit scared.This did not happen only once...it happened multiple times. I keep the dates because I knew I was seeing something very different.The following are a list of dates: 11/19, 11/27,12/22,12/28 of 07. Then 3/1 and 3/3 of 08. We moved back to the mainland later that month. Location in sky:From our condo it appeared to be off Kealakekua Bay area (Captain Cook)on the South Kona Coast. Always in that general area give or take. Can not guess it's size or how high off the water it was because it was dark. But times varied. It would show up around 9:-10:00pm, but usually between 3:00am and 5:30am Stayed in the sky for at least an hour. I had a guest at Xmas time and she saw it at varies times also.Two other sightings to tell you about.on Saturday 1/12/08 at 9:00pm I was flying out of Honolulu back to Kona and over Honolulu (on the take off climb)I saw the same flashing lights on what appearsed to be a disk with a dome on it, but the body of the thing almost looked translucent. It was titled toward the earth. I only saw it a few seconds as the plane was moving and out of my window seat view. Also I do want to say that on the weekend of March dates the sky had a lot of energy and many lights in it. Around 9:00pm.Lots of movement. Lights in the shape of triangles, as w;; as round very bright balls-- these lights would disappear and then reappear. You could feel the energy that night. About 2 weeks later the Volcano made a dramatic eruption. Every time we saw the UFOs it was either or close to a full moom and I wondered about that.When I would tell people what I saw they said people in HI often see them. There are a lot of different folks there so I took it with a grain of salt but I do know what we saw. I feel better for getting this info out to you. I know what we saw was unique and very interesting. I have been exact on the locations etc. and I would be interested if others have reported anything from that area. I know I have been changed by my experiences --- in a positive way!
