About a month ago my wife returned home after walking the dogs, claimingto have seen some ufo's. So I went out with her, sure that all it was weresome car lights or planes. What I saw I could'nt explain at all. The next night we went back, this time I had my 15X70 binoculars. At aridgeline about one mile south of Red rock canyon,(approx nine miles frommy location.)several lights were moving about the mountains. A bright onewould rise up then split into a number of dimmer lights,in daisey chainformations. The wind was blowing good and the 15X70s were hard to keep trained on this strange event. Being an amateur astronomer/tinkerer I rigged a tripod mount for mybino's,and a couple of nights ago, we went back. This time the show wasdownright erie. Clearly I could make out sauceresque forms, several brightships!? were moving behind the ridge casting a glowing pall, that backlit the foreground ridge. Ocasionally one would rise up and over the crestand fragment into many, up to fifteen smaller components, always slightlyangled always a dead straight line. This occurs due north of us, adding to this scene some would aproach the main body, from the west, or east, orappear out of nowhere glowing brightly then split into a new daisey chain A good number seemed to scan and comb the desert floor a good deal closer to us. Appearing out of the dark darting and weaveing then going dark again. The play of lights between these and the main body seemed to me like semiphore. At certain points those in the hills dashed a span ofthree or four degrees in one or two seconds, I don't know how fast that isbut at a distance of nine miles, seems a good clip. We watched this for a good two hours with no sign of a let up. The crazypart is I bet they will be there again tonight, and again tomarrow.
