Witness reports seeing a "swirling, snake-like formation with bands of colour" at extreme range, approx 15 degrees above the horizon to the WSW. Witness has sent copies of letters written at the time to an astronomer at Lund University (to which he received no reply), a summary of the events, and two CDs containing several dozen photos and videos.Witness is curious to find out what he might have seen.
