Approximately 10:10pm on 3/28/14 I stepped out on my upper deck because I noticed a bright orange light in the distance, which was something I had never seen before. I watched the bright orange circular light about the size of a penny just above the horizon in the SSE about 2 miles away and it was growing bigger and coming in my direction. It passed within a mile of where I was, it remained a bright orange light growing somewhat brighter and bigger when it passed within a mile of where I was. It was traveling in a straight line and moving fairly fast, probably a couple of hundred miles an hour or more. I was not able to hear any sounds or see any shape or object, just the bright orange circular light. I was able to view it for approximately 7 to 10 seconds. After it disappeared over my roof, 2 additional orange lights appeared from the same general location as the first and traveling on the same line and direction as the first. Before they had gone by, another 3 bright orange lights appeared from approximately the same location as the others and were traveling on the same line, direction and speed as the previous ones. Then another 2 bright orange lights appeared and went by traveling on the same path as the others. Before they had disappeared one more appeared following the same path as the others as well. I waited for another 10 or 15 minutes but did not see anymore. The night was clear to the west and north for I could see airliners about 6 miles away across the bay lining up for their approach to BWI airport. But to the south it was somewhat clouded and lots of trees, so I had a shorter distance to the horizon to view.
