These pics were taken when my 11yo son and I were on the eureka sky deck (on the 84th floor of a sky scraper in Melbournecbd) last year looking out to the west/North West...In the 1st pic a strange blue disc shaped object appeared and looked to be flying at great speed toward the city.I only had time to take 1 more pic where u can see that it's much more defined& then before I could get another shot off, it appeared to stall then shoot up thru the clouds in less than a second. I can only estimate it's speed at many thousands of km per hour as it streaked up thru the cloud cover.Both Kye and I were pretty freaked out, as were a few other people that got a quick glimpse before it went vertical and out of sight. I haven't said anything until now coz I didn't wanna be called crazy or that I was only imagining it. I've since thought about it and no longer care what people think of me, nor do I care if they beleive me... The pics are there... There were multiple witnesses and I know what I saw. The aerial maneuvering capabilities that this thing had were nothing short of unbelievable & when it seemed to slow then shoot upwards at massive speed... instantly... All I could do is be in awe. There's only 1 conclusion...I was lucky enough to catch an unidentified flying object of some sort, either terrestrial or extra terrestrial in origin in the western sky's of Melbourne that night.
