I was smoking a cigarette on my back porch around 11:40pm Wednesday June 3rd, 2014. I was gazing up at the stars on the clear night when I noticed a star-like light appear above the tree-line. I watched as it slowly traversed the sky over my head. Initially I assumed it to be an aircraft, but the more I stared at it, I realized it was a single sphere of light. It did not have multiple lights or any blinking light, just a solid ball of white light. It was fairly slow moving, but it's speed varied at times. It took roughly three minutes for it to travel roughly a mile plus over my neighborhood and out of view behind a neighbors house. It appeared just as a bright white star in the sky, but only about a mile high. Its path was not fixed, I caught it from the west and watched it meander from heading east to the northeast. It moved quietly and smoothly, occasionally slowing and for a split second slowing to a hover. The light never changed, viewed as a bright glowing white orb. It made a few random turns, but they were ever so slight and very smooth. I am an avid stargazer, I have witnessed many planes and helicopters over the course of my few years living in Bremerton near multiple military bases. I have also witnessed multiple satellites as well as meteor showers. This is the first time I have seen anything move like this across the sky, silently as a single uniform white light. I am still perplexed by what I saw.
