We had just picked up a pizza from the local gas station to feed some late night cravings at approx. 1:55am. We left the gas station and continued home. When on our street within visual of our home, we saw the most incredibly blue/teal light with a hazy-trail of blue light emitting from it. I wasn't directly focused on the object but it was in my line of sight. The crazy blue light coming from it immediately grabbed my attention. It also grabbed the drivers attention as to which we were speechless. I think it could have been a meteor or something falling to earth. Although I've never heard of things falling to earth being paired with an ODDLY teal blue light glowing leaving a trail. It shot down towards the earth diagonally to the left of the moon in our line of sight. We could not believe or understood what we just saw. We pulled into the driveway less than 100 feet away and got out staring into the sky looking for any trace of the object. Nothing was to be seen.This object was about a quarter of the size of the moon but the light emitting from it was RIDICULOUS. The most odd color I've ever seen naturally.
