I was out in front of my apartment on La Cienega Blvd Taking pictures of the moon. The moon was supposed to be almost full and at its closest point to the earth in its orbit. I took four pictures. The first two I was zoomed in, the second two I was zoomed out at full. The photos were taken with an iPhone 4S. I didn't notice the object when I originally took the pictures. I was focused on looking at the moon. When I uploaded the pictures to my Mac to post them to facebook I noticed a small starlike object in the frame. As I looked through the pictures I noticed that it was moving through the frames slowly. One it was moving to the left and in the other it moved to the right. In the last picture you can barely see its motion (a small trail, perhaps light moving across the frame and being blurred by the slow shutter speed). In West LA/Culver City at that time of the year, low clouds move in from the ocean every night. We call it June Gloom. The clouds, which you can see are very low, so the object must be below it. Planes flying out of LAX heading east fly over my apartment all the time, but they are so low and loud that you can see them (Livery and paint scheme, number of engines, model of plane, running lights, etc.). This object has no resemblence to any of the Boeings or Airbus or DCs that commonly fly over. This is very similar to daytime objects I have seen many times before in the past: Starlike objects moving in strange directions. i have attached the photos in the order I took them.
