On August 30 2014, at about roughly 9:30 PM, my boyfriend and I both saw two yellowish-orange objects in the sky. Very bright. They looked almost like cough drops or something like that, but firey? At first I was thinking some type of tower or something was on fire, or it was a reflection of his dashboard lights, but as I really looked, it was just a very bright orange-yellow object, just hovering. I know the area very well, so I knew there was nothing like a building or tower there. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was looking for anything underneath like a cell tower or something, but it was just sky. I was yelling to everyone "Do you see that? There's a UFO!!" My boyfriend said he saw it, then I said, "oh yeah? What did it look like?" He said "orange-yellow, and there were two". Exactly what I saw. One was hovering over the tree line just over rt 8 s. We were heading north on rt 8 between Thomaston and Northfield. The other one looked identical, but was a short distance away from the other, and closer to the ground. I didn't get to see them very long because we were going roughly 65-75 mph, and they weren't moving at all as far as I could tell. 3 people in the back seat didn't see them, but we did. I posted it on facebook, and one of my friends from Northfield said he had seen it too!
