Near 8:30pm I was traveling south on Rt. 2 when I noticed an extremely bright white light in the sky. It was stationary so I though a star but it was too big and too bright. Then I thought a helicopter but it was in the same spot for about 20 minutes with no search light or movement whatsoever. As I drove closer to home I kept my eye on it and all of a sudden the light dimmed and then started to go crazy, pulsing a white light that was from within but also flashing smaller red and green lights randomly; nothing like the blinking lights of typical aircrafts. I was amazed that no other motorists saw this as fields nearby lent a great view since no trees were in the way. When I turned onto my road the craft went back to a single bright white light and was getting lower and moving slowly southwest in direction. I was bummed that I didn't think to pullover to take a picture earlier as trees were in my vision upon returning home. This wasn't the first time seeing this kind of light near here as it happened earlier this year more to the west near the Upper Malboro/Waldorf area and I'm sure it won't be the last.
