I was walking with my granddaughter along the north border of Meadowbrook Pond. The water was low because we've had very little rain. We found a circle in a muddy area usually covered with water. The circle was probably made today or last night since we had light rain the few days before. The circle, which seemed to be "perfect" though incomplete, was about 10 feet in circumference and about 2/3 complete. It looked new. The groove making the circle was about 4-5" across and very even. There were no foot prints in the area. However, there were diamond shaped markings a few inches across in the area where the circle was absent. The circle was about one inch deep and the plants in the area of the circle were flattened, suggesting that whatever made the circle came from above. My 11-year-old granddaughter, who is a real skeptic, was a bit freaked out by the circle. We didn't have a camera so I didn't get any photos. Since it is supposed to rain tomorrow I'll try to get back in the morning before it rains and get some photos.
