Was driving down Basin St. in Ephrata at about 10:00 pm, when my friend in the passenger seat asked me "what those lights" were. I thought he meant the streetlights, or the lights of the tower in the distance. But then I noticed they were triangular in formation. I promptly lost my mind for a second, then collected myself and pulled over. Somewhere in between the panic attack and an odd shrieking that I later realized was coming from me, I noticed that they were really close to us. Maybe even with the hill that you can see, furthest to the left and closest to the road. I turned the car off, and rolled the windows down. As close and low as they were, they were gliding pretty slowly, maybe 2-5 mph, and there was NO sound coming from them. You'd think an aircraft of that size (Think an F15, without that back tail bit, and if it was completely a triangle instead of .... F15 shaped.) would make a rumble, a purr, a whooshing, something. There were two of them, maybe 100 yards apart, one was definitely following the other. They flew parallel with the mountains until I had the idea to turn my camera on. Then my phone decided to shine the brightest light I had ever seen. Oh my god, so bright. My passenger covered it, there was a scuffle, things were said. Basically, the bright light practically sent out a morse code signal for them. They changed their trajectory and arced towards us (this could have been purely coincidental. Nonetheless I hauled it out of there, parked illegally in an abandoned lot and hid so I could hyperventilate and call my mom), flew over the town, split up for a second, then flew low until we lost sight of them. They were so low, and moving slowly enough that I'd be surprised if no one else saw it, though from the research I've done, the last reported sighting was 2011. It's actually pretty cool, after the terror wears off.
