On my mother's back porch, I looked up and saw what I first thought to be a Chinese lantern, as I watched it come closer, I noticed it change shape,from a ball like shape into a cylinder like shape, as it did so, seemingly out of no-where, another object, identical to the first appeared to be right behind it. the two were bright burnt orange, with a red hue, and a light radiating from their bottom ends of deep bright red, they followed each other slowly, as one stopped and hovered above our house, the other went a bit away,but waited for the one that stopped. After about three minutes, they both went higher up into the cloud cover and were visually gone.
