Driving South on Hwy 95 toward Las Vegas and at 2:55a near mile marker NY 41 between 1 and 2 o'clock from my vantage point, I saw a red lead light followed by two white trailing lights even with each other (shaped like a chevron) defending at a rapid speed (similar to that of a meteor falling) it was located about 15 to 29 degrees above the horizon (roughly 4,000 ft) and during its decent it made a left 90 degree turn then a right 90 degree turn till it reached roughly 500 ft. The total duration of the sighting was less than a second. At 3:00a still on Hwy 95 heading south near mile markers NY 36 and NY 35 a bright flash lite up the sky like a lightening strike which originated above my windshield vantage point still in the general 1 to 2 o'clock direction basically in a direction from where the defending lights would have come from earlier but at a much higher altitude. The weather was clear (not a cloud in the sky), visibility was high, no other vehicles were near me in the road in either direction, no street lights or ither near by lights were present as to lead to any type of reflection, nothing in my windshield obstructing my view.
