Mid morning I was watching a passenger jet overhead and 30,000 feet in a clear cloudless sky, a white sphere appeared directly behind the jet, it's diameter was was the same as the jets fuselage, it fell back a distance from the jet then vanished, a second later I saw an intense bright flash of white light maybe 500 meters to the left of the jet.
