Witness Testimony

"It's 5am i couldn't sleep. i opened the back door and let the dog out into the garden. i looked up to the stars ( i always do.) i saw what at first i thought was a really bright star but then it began to move. the light went off and when it reappeared a few seconds later it had moved slightly. i watched it for about five minutes it made no sound at all and seemed to be really high in the sky. while i was watching it a plane flying at a lower altitude flew beneath it and passed it in a second. it remained in the sky above me still make really odd movements. the whole thing probably lasted no more than about 10 minutes. i am totally baffled? also while i was watching it i saw a shooting star going from south to north, this sounds weird but i felt like it was watching it?
