My 19 year old son and I were walking down a local road in Darwen, Lancashire,UK at around 9.15pm on the 31st October (yes I know it was Halloween. Its not a joke... read on !) and I saw 2 glowing red lights moving through the sky to the front above us, which I pointed out to him. We both stopped walking and looked at them to determine whether there were any other lights on the craft... there were none and the glowing red light was continuous on both craft. They looked round in shape. My son was absolutely amazed, as was I.They were flying in the same straight line direction and were almost side by side and flying at the same speed.We watched them for a short time before they dissapeared upwards through the clouds. The light was definately too big to be a light on any normal aircraft/helicopter. There was no noise that we could hear and no vapour trail.After they had dissapeared we talked to each other about it and rationalised it all and we are convinced they were UFO's. We told my wife and our other children (20, 24 and 26 years old)Now this is where it gets really interesting (if not a little scary for me) your 'report' site (above) doesn't allow for this next bit of information... the FOLLOWING day my son and I were driving back from Birmingham at around 7.30pm on the M6 travelling North and we both saw another one... exactly the same red glowing light, but it was flying much lower and was travelling in a Southern direction. (I promise you I am not making this up)... then even more unbelievably, around 2 weeKs ago, I had took my son back to his University accommodation and was getting some of his stuff out of my car to take into his room when I saw another one... and 'yes' it was exactly the same ! I saw it flying in a straight line again, and it just went up through the clouds and dissapearedI swear I am not making any of this up, and my son can confirm the first 2 sightings (he was inside his place for the 3rd and did not see it)I know what a plane and a helicopter look like at night... and they do not only have a (what would be very large) sole red light (which did not flash).I have been meaning to report it all since the last sighting, but did not know how to until I saw this facility on your site.
