3 orange orbs sail slowly through night sky over Sodus Center,N.Y.3 orangish-pink lights came to my attention in the darkening sky over Menz Pond, southwest of where I sat on my deck. I was on the phone, talking to my Dad. Altho I had not heard a sound my first thought was of fireworks. They were traveling northeast, some what toward me at a very slow rate of speed. They were in a straight, side to side pattern, with brightness remaining constant. Second thought was of a glider plane with a light on each wing and one on the nose. By this time, I had interrupted my conversation with my dad, to explain to him what I was seeing. They seemed way lower than the few clouds we had that night, and remained at a slow constant speed. To me it seemed about 150 ft up. I was standing on the pond bank by now for an interrupted view. The two outside lights dropped uniformally lower slightly to suggest a triangle, removing the idea of a glider plane. They passed through the night sky above where the moon appeared to me to be,with enough ! moon light between them to see that there was no craft attaching them. The center light faded out as they passed from my left to my right,with the outside ones continuing on,until momentarily they also faded out,leaving no trace of anything having been there. At no time was there any sound,nor any fireworks going off in the area. The multitude of similar reports across the nation ( discovered after the fact) is the causation for this report. I make no assumptions, only this eyewitness account.
