Neighbor alerted us to come check it out.we observed a dark object that was very high in the sky. It looked like a traditional "satellite" shape and appeared as if it were just floating in space and slightly rotating.The object was dark in color and had ocassional white/orange lights almost like engines firing up. Then in no pattern small lights began to appear one at a time around the main dark object.. about 4 directly next to and down to the right. These other lights were similar to fire flies in nature as the lights were random but were still centered around the larger dark object. And then about 3 more randomly to the left. The object "floated" with no noticeable noise to the southeast.. we watched until it was out of sight. All witnesses reported eye floaters while viewing which seemed to make us question what we were seeing. The sun was low in the sky but it was not dark yet.. about 7:30-8pm.
