The UFO incident in Tehran was a strange event for many witnesses. Reports about it made their way to the American intelligence agencies and went all the way to the U.S. president. Witnesses described the object as rectangular or cylindrical aerial object exhibiting some unusual qualities and even changing shapes. Many reported that the UFO was exhibiting separation into multiple parts, assembled again and changed form while changing speed and direction while doing all these things.

Fighter jets that were sent to intercept the UFO failed to keep up despite scrambling the Phantom II, which was one of the fastest jets ever made during that time. The object left the jets behind without any difficulties. Adding to the mystery was the malfunction of jets’ navigational and communication abilities every time they go near to the mysterious object.

When the radar operator managed to lock on the UFO while one of the jets still in pursuit, he estimated that the UFO was about the size of a Boeing 707 and maintained 25 nautical miles distance from the pursuing jet.

Later, the UFO dispatched a smaller object and headed towards the Phantom jet at tremendous speed. The pilot tried to fire a missile, but failed to do it. Out of fear, the pilot tried to eject himself from the jet but the function was not working as well. Fortunately, the smaller object did not attack the jet and only circled around it. Apparently, the malfunctioned instrumentation fix itself later.

The number of quality supporting reports and the fact that fighter jets were easily got affected by the UFO, making the Tehran UFO incident as one of the most interesting strange events until today. However, it seems that more of this kind of incident should happen to support the case that space UFOs are visiting Earth.
