A few weeks ago Tom Warner reported an encounter in Great Barrington, Massachusetts (United States), occurred on September 1st, 1969. He has given us permission to share his story.
The Tom Warner UFO Case
"The first incident was witnessed by three of my brothers, one who has since died. They were yelling to me to run but I couldn't as the beam of light held me down. The first was about six miles on the same night as a well known UFO reported incident. Later, I was told it was seen by two college girls at Simon's Rock College and a third a half mile from the college.
The second incident with a UFO was a bit strange. Not that having a UFO hover 35 feet above my head isn't strange! Anyway the second I was having a catch with my brother and I threw the ball back and forth to him and suddenly the ball went past and it was dark.
At that moment two other brothers and a neighbor were running towards us as the neighbor was yelling:
- "Did you see the UFO it was right over Tommy"
- "No I didn't!" - I said, and then he said:
- "Look, it's there now" - and pointed to it now up in the sky.
I went towards southwest like at a incredible speed and again zip it was gone. I had trouble sleeping for years after that, I was afraid to go to sleep.
About three years later, while vacationing on Lake Champlain, a boy about my age at the time came up to me as I was getting out of the water. He said I had seen a UFO and because I didn't want to talk about it, I denied it a number of times before saying:
- "I don't even know you, how would you know something like that?"
His answer:
- "Because I was there on the UFO and remember you and your brother"
It had occurred to me that I may have been the only person to have been witnessed both at a UFO and on a UFO. Now that's strange!
We still talk to this day but it is so traumatising he has trouble talking. As for my brother, he didn't even tell his children but did admit to me he remembered looking down upon our property. He has wanted me to go under hypnosis to try and get to the truth. So far I have declined. Scary stuff ya know.
As an artist, last year I agreed to a painting the well known Thom Reed case and came forward to say ya all this did happen. I did so because I thought Thom was doing this for a honorable reason. I interviewed Thom for about four months as I did a painting of him inside a UFO. I had a nightmare every night I worked on the painting. When I was done I brought the painting around and a woman in South Egremont, MA, a town away came up to me and said:
- "Could I speak to you outside alone?". - I agreed and when outside she cried saying:
- "The expression you painted on that child's face was the same expression my daughter had as she was saying the "orbs" were trying to abduct her". - The same ones I painted in the painting.
She then looked at me and said:
- "You must have been on a UFO". - I asked her why, and she said that:
- "Because no one could have painted what I did without experiencing the detail in which I painted that expression".

A side note to all of this with Lake Champlain. Because of my experiences a friend asked if I was willing to talk to a buddy of his and to meet him in twenty minutes and he would be on the beach nearby where we were. When I got there a young man sat on the beach so upset. It turns out he was fighter pilot. There was a scramble and he was up and requested permission to fire. As he approached his target he was stunned to see it was a UFO. He had lock on and before he could do anything it took off at a speed he could not comprehend. Back at the base he was held over for a debriefing on the incident and was told to sign papers that it did not happen. His choice, sign or be out of the Air -force. He refused and he was out, done like he was never in. I felt sorry for him. He thanked me and I never saw him again.

There is a Youtube video out there talking how at that time the Air force had an incident, I am not sure if it was the same but was at the same time. Another friend at the lake (Lake Champlain) had seen the same thing I had along with some of her sibblings and was interviewed by the Plattsburgh AFB.
