A stranger parked along the side of the field in the parking lot adjacent asked "look at the object over there-what is it?"

I looked and said, it's a plane while I continued to serve the customer their groceries. 

Then the next car pulled up for pick -up for groceries.

Again the stranger then said look, it's not moving.

I again quickly looked over and said " it’s a helicopter "as I felt being bothered.

Not really paying FULL attention as I had customers to deal with their grocery pick up

I finished the second car and again this fellow bothered me saying ‘look at lights over there’

He did not get out of his car in pointing this out at all to me.

At that moment, I had no more customers to serve.

Sonow I gave my FULL attention to what this fellow was asking about,and what I also could see what he was trying to point out. 

Clearly, about a mile or less -directly east bordering West hill and Scarborough, Ontario,.

At the northeast corner of Morning side /Ellesmere Road. [Today built Centennial College of Science Technology ]

Over the forest there, I could see a wheel of different coloured lights,rotating clockwise at a very low in altitude just above tree tops.  

I put my head down and I ran across the field about 200 yards.

When I had stopped running, to look less than a mile away to the east,with my workplace behind me.

Looking to that direction again and noticed the lights were gone from where I had first seen them pointed out by this fellow in the car. 

I checked across the sky looking east and looked up just behind me.

Suddenly in shear shock, as I turned to the west,  just slightly above me- off 10 degrees -- about 50 feet away, with no more than 200 feetmax above in the sky, I saw the colorful display of a strange silvercraft. 

I could not believe what I was witnessing (at age 18). 

The best description I can give was of a silver –gray in colour with a shape that looked like a light bulb or capsule shaped craft. 

The larger back end facing me, had four distinct colours of lights insequence blue-green-yellow-red. 

These lights rotated clockwise -one at a time. 

No light sockets could be seen as each light went out or on – round spherical in shape

Each light stayed on one to two seconds until to the next rotating colour.

No change in speed by the coloured lights staying in a constant motion in rotation

Inside the centre of the perimeter of these four lights was a slightly larger, orange-yellow light that stayed on. 

There were no markings or windows on this grayish silver craft. 

It looked like it was made from one single mold.

There were also no nuts or bolts that were seen on this stationary unknown silver craft.

This craft made “ no sound,“ and appeared to be about 30- 40 feet in length. 

The narrower end of the craft appeared to be about 5 - 10 ft in diameter,widening toward the back, where it was about 10-20 ft in diameter. 

I watched this craft ALONE and it’s rotating light’s display for about 15-20 minutes. 

It was almost like I was in a hypnotic trance watching these rotating coloured lights.

I felt at the time that they were " TIME TRAVELERS " and I shouted for them to come down and land pointing towards the ground.

The craft just sat there not moving as the lights continued to rotate around at the back of the craft. 

Then I felt the words "Neanderthal" and "Bone Density" suddenly pop into my mind.

I could not wait any longer, standing alone, witnessing this unbelievable unknown.

Now I wanted to get some other witnesses to see this marvel, passing in such close proximity. 

So then I ran very fast back towards the store parking lot.

As soon as I reached the edge of the parking lot, I heard a four pitch HIGH "beeping" sound. 

So I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around.

The craft was moving very slowly [about 3-5 mph] towards the northwest direction while still making those high pitched "beeping"sounds. 

The fellow who had brought this to my attention was now gone. [Was he scared or was I set up ?]

As I ran into the store to have a co-worker/ friend witness this thing. 

He was unloading a 45 foot trailer in the groceries department and he could not spare the moment.

I ran back fast through the store to go outside again to the front inparking lot once again. 

So I screamed for a co-worker who collects grocery carts, to "runover here quickly. "

The craft was less than a mile northwest of us now, still flying very low and beeping was sonic.

We had to step back out into the field to see it due to the store building would not see it.

In less than a minute, it was out of sight being so low heading towards the direction of highway 401.

My co-worker asked me what was that ?

I replied to him –‘ TIME TRAVELERS ‘ ?

We stayed together and looked all around in the skies.

After about 5 minutes, we went back to work. 

I was in a slight daze and very excited to what I just witnessed to comprehend in thoughts.

The store would be closing at 10:00 pm, so it must have been now about9:15 pm at that point.

Then I heard a whooshing sound directly above me, moving across towards the east.

My co-worker friend screamed across the parking lot and yelled DID YOU HEAR THAT ‘ ?

We noticed a very low [1000-2000 ft] white trail, from east to west,that appeared like a jet’s trail

Again,we both stood together at the edge of the field to the east and witnessed a bright red and white light shining brightly .

Directly east, about 8 - 10 miles away high in this clear night sky.

We watched the intensity of this red, then bright white, shining lighton and off with great light intensity for a couple of minutes directly east

Then all of sudden, it went out and re-appeared in the south - near Lake Ontario in a blink of a eye *

Same light object or was this another I wondered ?

The actual location would be around Pickering Ontario, where we watched from our vantage point view. 

The light shined brightly, on and off, a white to red color, for another couple of minutes.

Then this spectacle was over, but I have never forgotten what it was that I had witnessed. 

After about two weeks later, hearing no news about this spectacular eventon TV/Radio or reading of it in Newspapers. 

Added to this was the ridicule of being laughed at by my friends to whom I told of about this strange event.

So,I went downtown Toronto to investigate this at the Toronto Library tosee what I could find out about just what it was it that I had witnessed. 

After spending some hours looking into archives in the Toronto Star Newspaper Microfiche. 

This article stated:

"The Canadian Government will not release any information regarding  UFO’ sand that new word, 'Extraterrestrials,' until the year 2000."

At 18 years of age, I accepted that other life forms were... "already out there." 

I had witnessed that someone or something was visiting the area here in Scarborough / Westhill, Ontario. 

So I put the question of "alien visitors" to rest as young man and went on with my life,  attending the College for Forestry in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.

Now I could just move on with my life, and with other interests that were "NORMAL" again.

I thought on this subject that is was over for me to again ever sight and to witness strange unknown aerial anomalies

Nothing further appeared to happened until again in the late 1980’s .
