Story correction and addition

Hi,

I filed a story back in 2003 about a sighting of a big cylinder over Tulsa. I don't want to republish the story but wanted to give a up date to another story about a cylinder at about the same time.  Here is my original story:

http://www.ufo-hunters.com/sightings/search/51439b5d0ad2e1e9be45242c/UFO%20Sighting%20in%20%20Tulsa,%20OK%20on%20Sunday%2013%20April%202003

There were a couple of very weird things that happened after I put the story on NUFORC. First, the date and time is incorrect on the siting.   I saw the UFO on a Sunday afternoon at about 4:00pm CST. It was the Sunday before tax day because I just finished my taxes and was off to the gym.  So going back to Google Search the actual date of the sighting was April 13th 2003.

"Tuesday, April 15 Filing Deadline for IRS Tax Returns for the previous year, to be filed in 2003."

I filed the report with NUFORC around 2 months later. I thought I filed the sighting with MUFON then and I don't recall NUFORC back them.

I was going to report it sooner but I waited to see if there were any other reports of this cylinder UFO.  As mentioned in the story, I reported the UFO a 1/2 mile East of my position at 5,000 feet. This was a absotutely clear day and should have been seen by people from the expressway (HW169) another 3/4 of mile East of where I saw it. More importantly this cylinder UFO was a stright path to the Tulsa International Airport and the active F-16 Air National Guard Unit runway.  There was one other report filed around the time of mine in Bartlesville and that story is missing from the net now.  That story talked about the F-16's chasing a disc, not a cyclinder.

The other very odd thing about this sighting from our house to the south end of the TUL runway is 4.5 to 4.7 miles. The control tower for TUL would have had to seen the UFO especially because the wind was light coming for the south. So aircraft taking off and heading east would have taken the plane dead smack into the UFO.

The thing about this UFO that I didn't think of back in 2003 was I could give a fairly good guessamate on the speed.  Because Tulsa main streets are laid out in 1 miles distances, I saw (staired) for about a minute or a little longer before the UFO traveled by a hill a mile away. This would have put the forward speed of the UFO at 50 to 70 mph.  This is before the landing speed for any airliner. I watched until all I could see was the black cap or rear of the cylinder. At 5,000 feet this would have put the UFO around 11th St and maybe a little farther north. In short it was heading stright for TUL International Airport.

Last on the cylinder.  with the sun location at 4:00pm it would be possible to get an actuate hight of the UFO because of the reflection and the known half-mile east location. I don't have the math skills to figure this out but it is possible.  Again, I say the UFO closer to 1 minute to a little longer in total time. I never said or wrote anything about 10 sections.

Over the years I went back to MUFON to see if there was any other sightings for this UFO.  Again, I remember MUFON and not NUFORC.  I did see a picture of the EXACT same cyclinder on the net but that picture disappeared and I never could find it again.

Now the really weird part.........  I own a fairly big internet publishing website called www.sweepstakestoday.com. The website went online March 2004. I owned multiple computers and with the website, we leased/rented the server.  All of my emails and files were backed up in multiple harddrives and locations.  Many of my emails and files go back into the 1990's. THE EMAIL and Word file that i created the MUFON sighting on were all missing including the backups.  This I cannot explain to this day.  I only found the story again after many different searches on both Bing and Google and then only after a different keyword search sentence on Google. I had never heard of your website before.  I followed back up with MUFON about this an no response from them.

So I cannot say which was stranger, the Cylinder UFO or the missing files in multiple locations, computers, hard drives and servers.

[REMOVED],

Tulsa, OK

PS.... the reason for writing you now was this recent story:

http://www.ufostalker.com/ufostalker/UFO+Sighting+in+Richard-Gebaur+AFB+Kansas+United+States+on+March+29th+2003/76038?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ufostalker+%28UFO+Stalker%29

That is about 175 miles due north of Tulsa.
