Dozens of Orange Lights over Fort Meade, Military Base.At approx. 18:30 a friend of mine noticed several lights ascending into the sky - near the Fort Meade military base. We were located in a neighborhood of Severn. MD. At first they appeared to be coming up – from something on the ground and then moved through the sky - at times there were as many as twenty or so. There were small objects – but had an orange glow to them. The moved - as if they floated through the night, then approx. 10-15 minutes later they faded out, at times, one by one – until the last one. They were very close together at times; they were not military craft - as two people including myself served in the military and we were very accustomed to known military craft. Furthermore, they were too close together moving in formation. The other people were females both with college educations. No one could confirm what they were.
