Gold Egg seen from cruise shipWe were on a cruise to the Caribbean and one night we saw an egg shaped UFO. After pulling away from Grand Turk and Caicos, were sitting out on our balcony looking up at the night sky when all of the sudden a gold-ish tan egg shaped object flies from above the ship (directly above our balcony) towards open ocean. I watch it for a moment trying to figure out what it was when I finally say "what the hell is that?" My husband looks and says "It's a satellite" I say "That's not a satellite - it's too low and close and it's not lit up... All of the sudden - right in front of us, it STOPS and zips straight back to the ship (right in front of us but a little above us) - then darts back to where it originally stopped and darts back to the ship again about half the distance it just did - darts back again to where it originally stopped, paused, and then continued on it's original path. We were able to follow it until it disappeared due to dark! ness. My husband and I looked at each other saying "DID YOU SEE THAT???" Totally amazing. Pretty cool. The object was not lit up, but the lights off the boat and the strong reflection off the water lit it up fine) It was a definite gold color, but when it stopped to come back to us, it's color was more of a dull white and seemed to have a vibration blur to the edges of it. When it finished darting around and went back to it's original point of travel, it became clear again (without a vibration blur on the edges) and carried on it's way. Our stateroom was high up on the ship and I would say it was traveling at a height that seemed a couple of floors above us.
