SIGHTING: OAK HILL/ELMWOOD/BRIMFIELD, IL

Witness Testimony

"Reddish/Orange Sphere in Western Peoria CountyI had just changed jobs and was picking up some personal items and dropping off other things with my brother and his wife. We had just finished cleaning up after supper and I was getting ready to head back to my new home. I was loading my truck with a suitcase when I glanced up and saw due north of their home a large dimly lit orange/yellow/red sphere. My estimate is it had a diameter of at least 200 feet as it was 4 times the size the barn that it was hovering over (barn was 50 ft high) and it was at least 200 fet over the barn. The object was hovering over the neighbors farmstead, namely the barn. I quickly ran into the house and told my brother and my sister in law what I had seen, they said it was a helicopter. When they came out it was gone. I did not argue with them about it. Just minutes earler to my sighting the Northwest 10:00 pm flight to Peoria, IL from Minneapolis, MN had flown over my brothers place, but always runs 10-5 minutes so exact time is within 5 minutes (I have flown it frequently on business). The date is accurate as I was reminded in a telephone call to pickup items I left, and my brother happened to mention my "sighting" and the date. I am not a nutcase, I am gainfully employed and happended upon your website to get this out of my mind once and for all.
