I was leaving work going south on US 41/27 at approximatley 6:30 PM on 11/04/2012. I was actually looking for the space station which shows up brightly in the Florida night sky. I got past a field of trees when something caught my eye in the southwest sky. It was orange/red in color moving horizontally across the sky. My first thought, of course was that it was a plane. I quickly noted that there was not any other lights. Then I thought maybe it was a meteor or shooting star but there was not a tail so it always be obvious it was not either of these. The object was orange/red in color and elongated in shape but not quite oval. It moved rapidly across the sky. There was absolutely no sound whatsoever. I watched it for 2-3 possibly 4 minutes then it was simply gone. There 1 minute gone the next.
