stepped outside to smoke. bright star at 4o'clock high then lights came on seen a triangular object between me and the star. the lights went out for a minute and came basck on. possibly because they were crossing the flight path for hector airport. they were visible for over an hour,passing between me and the star. what seemed odd was the wide part was leading and the trailing part was the third point of the triangle. the lights eminated from the outside edge pointing towards the center of the object. possibly an attempt to make their craft visible to any other aircraft. the lights stayed on and i was able to watch the craft until about 7 o'clock high. wish they had stopped the coffee was on.
