It was about 9pm, my roommate and I were going outside on the deck to have a smoke, she stepped out of the door 2 or 3 seconds before me and started saying "What's that"? "What is it"? I stepped outside and looked up and there were approximately 20 to 30 orbs floating directly over our heads. They were traveling from east to west. Each one had a purple and pink glow, with a white spot light on one side. They were independently moving their spotlights. They made no noise and they appeared to be checking things out or looking for something. We stood there stunned. I watched them float about a block away, then they started disappearing. We started talking about what we had just seen, when about 30 seconds to one minute had passed, and here came one more all by itself. Then they were gone. I was truly amazed at what I had just seen. I have never seen anything like it before.
